Basic Supplies & Tools

Before we can get started, you need to have the right tools and supplies.

Some are household items and you only need to double check you have them.

Unusual supplies are unusual items most people don't have at home.

I do not make an profit from the links I list here.

*Every link opens in a new tab.*

Link pages are suggestions, you can get your supplies from wherever you want. However, for best results I recommend the brands mentioned. Store suggestions are for ease.

You can download a printable version of the Basic Supplies list at the bottom of the page, to use as a checklist or for reference.

HOUSEHOLD ITEMS:

Food coloring dyes (I use McCormick brand, found at your local grocery store)

Small scissors (I use cuticle scissors, like this)

Toothpicks

Paper towels

Wax paper

BASIC SUPPLIES:

ArtResin or epoxy resin brand of choice (but it needs to be an epoxy resin kit, with a bottle of hardener and a bottle of resin) I also like Annie Howe's Luxe Resin (not currently available)

Short, wooden craft sticks (can be found at Wal-Mart)

Medicine plastic measurement cups (sometimes found at Wal-Mart)

3-in-1 jewelry pliers (found at Wal-Mart)

Ready Post packaging tape (found at your local post office)

Utility lighter (recommended brand: Scripto, folding & re-fillabe. Can be found at Wal-Mart) (also called Candle Lighter, BBQ Lighter, Hand Torch, Butane Torch, etc)

Disposable gloves for working with chemicals (in your size and preference of latex or latex-free)

(Optional) Mask if desired

Supplies for the Serenity & Rose Quartz Bracelet:

14mm gold-filled link

3.5 x 4 mm gold-filled oval jump rings (x2)

Gold-filled lobster clasp

Gold-filled large link chain (1 foot is enough for 1 bracelet)

Miniature dried daisies in natural white, also called Star Flowers (can be found at Hobby Lobby, in the fake and dry flower section, called "Natural Star Flowers")
